We are seeking a skilled Amazon Connect Integration Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, customizing, and integrating Amazon Connect with third-party applications and internal systems. You will play a key role in creating seamless customer experiences by designing scalable workflows, automating processes, and ensuring efficient data exchange across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Amazon Connect integrations with CRMs, ticketing tools, databases, and enterprise applications.
- Build and customize IVR call flows, routing logic, and contact flows within Amazon Connect.
- Create and maintain AWS Lambda functions, APIs, and web services to support integrations.
- Leverage AWS services (DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Lex, Kinesis, etc.) for advanced workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, IT) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues in real time.
- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and best practices for cloud environments.
- Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience working with Amazon Connect and AWS-based integrations.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Lex, CloudFormation, etc.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Experience integrating with CRMs (Salesforce, Zendesk, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Familiarity with VoIP, SIP, and telephony systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- AWS certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect, or Connect Specialty) are highly desirable.
